How’s your July going?  I’m super busy! Getting this house in a state that it is ready to receive family and friends is no small feat.  Grandma was concerned the place smelled too kitty cat, so THAT had to be remedied.  Then, we seem to have an ant problem.  UGH!  We just cant leave garbage sitting too long.

My cruise starts the day after the party so I need to get everything ready to go.  I think I’ll put my suitcases in the car before the party starts.  I know my friends will help me clean up (it’s just what we do) so it will just be a matter of getting everyone out the door after the party ends.

I have about 20 people coming so I needed to rent some tables and chairs from a party rental place.  That means I also needed more table clothes and centerpieces.  UGH!  Not another thing to do !!! I wish you both were here.  You’d enjoy researching pictures on the internet and making something cheap but pretty centerpiece to sit on each table.  Here are a few ideas I found …

I think I like the third one best.  We’ll have to see what Michael’s and Hobby Lobby have available.    I try to use things from the Dollar Tree or the 99 cents store first and then buy from the other stores only what I NEED.  You learn to become very resourceful in party planning.
