I have big plans tonight: I’m going out to an Italian dinner and then to see Romeo and Juliet at a local performing arts high school.  I’ve been impressed with students from this school and I’ll be looking for some of my old students on stage. But before I can do that, I need to buy some shoes and get a manicure.  I don’t have the long nails anymore.  When the acrylic gets taken off, it tears the top of your nails.  That takes MONTHS to completely heal.  So now I just grow them out and get manicures.  The cosmetologist massages lotion into your hands and uses a hot towel to moisten your skin.  It’s a much more relaxing experience over all.  Then, she’ll shape the nails and cover then with nail gel and finish.
