Today, I’m visiting the French Palace of Versailles.  You might remember reading about the French king and Queen that gave Americans the money and supplies they needed to win the Revolutionary War against the English. That same king and Queen also had this palace built about 30km outside of Paris.  Unfortunately, this same royal couple spend so much money, the French people had them arrested. They were tried ( sort of) and convicted of crimes against the newly created Republic of France.  They were both beheaded ( heads cut off) during the French Revolution.  See what happens when you spend too much of other people’s money!  But seriously, I’m looking forward to some opulence.
