Here’s another song from Rod Stewart.  I think it says my wishes for you.  I hope you have a beautiful life of love and happy choices that you make for yourselves.  And I’ll be behind whatever you decide to do.  Try to keep your child’s heart. Avoid becoming bitter as that will turn back on you and cheat you from everything life can give you.  I know being “Forever Young” fearless has its consequences.  But looking back, I wish I’d taken more chances.  Later on, you won’t beat yourself up for the chances you took.  You’ll beat yourself up for the chances you DIDN’T take.  I’m not talking about crazy stuff.  I mean stuff like following a dream.  My college drama teacher took the trouble to get me an application to the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art.  She wanted me to attend the best acting school in the world.  An Internationally acclaimed German actress friend of hers took me aside and told me I should go for it.  I didn’t.  Now, I’m sorry I didn’t.  Don’t make the same mistake.  Believe you can do it.  Make a plan and then DO it!  I’ll help where I can.  🙂
