It makes sense that on Sunday, your heart might turn heavenward. I want you to learn this prayer. It is a very important Christian prayer. Christians say it whenever they go to church. Your Grandmother had me learn it when I was very young in preparation for my baptistism. I wasn’t baptized until I was seven. But my name means “sacred to God.” My mother gave me into God’s service by giving me the name I have. And now, I teach Bible and Hebrew to children at Religious School. I have been the lay cantor (community songstress) of my temple for over twenty years. A relationship with God quite simply saves your life from being full of bitterness and despair. And even though I cannot be there with you right now, all you need do is reach out for God. He’s there. He can hold your “hand.” I promise. Start listening to this prayer. It speaks of surrendering to His higher purpose. It speaks of forgiveness. Please try to learn it. It is important.

There are lots of melodies to this prayer (as with most prayers). This is a more modern yet simple melody.
