Great music continues to come your way from your favorite cosmic DJ: The Sketchy Scribe.  Here is Fireflies by Owl City.  This song is a lot more than it looks on the surface.  The theme (lesson) of the song is Things Are Never As They Seem.  Earth DOES turn slowly, but that’s something the person writing the song is questioning.  They are a person caught between two worlds.  One of them, they want to get away from (The one where Earth turns slowly).  But the other way of seeing the world – where fireflies teach you to dance and lightning bugs give you ten thousand hugs- is the world they’d rather concentrate on.  Problem: you gotta deal with the real world.  Solution: Yes, but don’t forget the other world exists.  Because sweet sisters – despite what others might tell you – it does.  (See next post for proof).
