Finding out about others who are struggling can help one feel like life isn’t so bad.  This is Hanna’s story.  She lives in the former Soviet Union.  She is very poor.  This year our Sunday School class raised over $25 to help elderly people like Hannah.  Tonight, I’m writing a check for $50 to send to these older Jews who need our help.  I told the girls in my class that I’d match whatever money they raised.  They raised $25 so I’ll kick in $25 more.  The extra $25 I give in honor of you, my sweet sisters.  I cannot give to you as I’d like to, so I’ll pay it forward and give to a woman like Hanna instead.  So when you watch this video, know that Hannah, or another woman like her is benefiting from goodness attached to you.  Her winter will be warmer because of my students and because of my love for you.  I hope that warms your heart.  XXOO
