I found this owl puppet at the Getty Museum in Los Angeles.  Isn’t she cute?! What to name her?  I don’t know! I’m going to hang out at the Getty and study up on the elements of art so I can teach them to my class this week.  Having gone to Europe now, this art is more interesting than it was last summer.  I’m learning about color, texture, space, line – all the things that make a piece of art – well- a  piece of art. Even the food I’m eating in the restaurant is artfully prepared.  It reminds me of Paris.  Believe it or not, you can get ready for our trip there, just by not eating junk: fast food.  Eat good, wholesome food.  Keep surrounding yourself with beauty.  And keep believing, my beauties…
