Tomorrow is the big day.  I have already had a few nice birthday activities.  One of my students made me a birthday card (with an owl on it) and my teacher friends (grade level) gave me a little party.  I’m easy to please: cupcakes, potato chips and dip and veggies.  Yum!  Tomorrow is the luau party at Grandma’s house.  We are having surf and turf (steak and seafood), coconut shrimp, grilled veggies, Hawaiian salad (think pineapple, peaches, pears, grapes, cherries, macadamia nuts, lettuce and barbecue like salad dressing and cake.  I’m going to attempt to make the Hawaiian cake I showed you several weeks ago.  It’s going to be a pineapple cake.  We are having mango sherbert instead of ice cream.  Grandma and Grandpa’s friends are coming over to help us celebrate.  Remember when I had my Harry Potter themed b day and you all came?!  Good times!  Just know my dearest wish tomorrow would be to get to hug each of you.  But I hug you in my heart. Your comfort and joy are so important to me.  I love you.  Aloha!
