My drama club students are getting SO excited about their plays.  Today, the set design crew were adding detail to the Christmas trees they are painting for our school’s choir performance.  I had them watch this video to learn how to add all those extra details that make a tree really look authentic.  I know both of you have enjoyed art from time to time and you both complain sometimes that you are bored at home.  You could even do this with pencil if you HAD to.  Drawing, coloring and painting are great ways to escape.  You get lost into the world of the picture and what is going on around you is easier to deal with.  The next time you need an escape…give this short art lesson a try.
