I did not expect to find the full movie on YouTube. I don’t expect it to stay too long on YouTube. Hollywood hates it (understandably) when people pirate their movies. I’m just showing part 1 to you – and our sketchy scribe readers.
Let me warn you, this movie is wonderful – and heart wrenching!
It is the full story of Anne Frank: the girl who wrote one of the most widely published books ever – just after the Holy Bible. Yes, a fifteen year old girl wrote the book most published after the Bible.
Anne Frank lived in Germany in the 1930’s. Her family moved to Holland to escape Hitler and his Nazi regime. But Hitler followed and took over Holland in 1939. Anne and her family went into hiding. They hid for over two years.
This is the story of what happened before they went into hiding, while Anne wrote her diary, and after the Nazis found them. You need to be prepared for the ending. It is very hard, but it is a true story of incredible courage on the part of a young teenage girl. Anne Frank is honored and remembered on our website on this last night of Chanukah. A great miracle happened in Amsterdam. An amazing young woman chronicled the last few years of her life. Here is the first part. I’m not showing the second part. It is not PG-13 rated. It is on YouTube, however: same title but part II.
