You’ve probably heard people say that “blood is thicker than water.” That’s an expression that means those family members connected by blood are more important than those who are not. Well, I’d like to challenge that theory. Yes, blood is physically thicker than water, but water ( over time) is extremely powerful. For example: the Grand Canyon. Some geologists say it has by created by erosion: water slowly carrying away pieces of dirt and sand to create the amazing vision that the canyon is today. I went there the summer before last. It is a breathtaking sight. And when you realize that water carved its rocky ledges and painted bluffs, you cannot help but be impressed with the power of… water. Enjoy the best view I could give you (at this time) of the grandest canyon of them all.
