Romance can be tricky.  There is so much pressure from others to be in a relationship – like there is something wrong with you if you are taking time to heal from the last break up.  There is nothing wrong with that. In fact, I think there is a kind of nobility about being on your own. And it is a good idea to get your heart clear before you start telling someone you are ready to love them. Being alone is considered by some to be anti-social.  But it can also be uber addicting.  You can see events you want, when you want, how you want.  You can spend money how and where you want.  You control just about every aspect of your life.

Of course you do need to deal with people and it can be pleasant again.  Especially if you trust yourself.  If your gut tells you something, really listen.  Being alone for a long while teaches you to REALLY hear the truth of your heart.  You can’t escape the truth.  The truth does have a way of biting you in the butt if you do not listen.  Maybe the truth is – it is better to be single until someone so fabulous comes along, you’d be a fool to let him go.  So, I dare you ladies!  Buck with convention!  Make a proclamation to stay single until someone absolutely amazing comes along.  Be single despite what the world may keep pressuring you to change.  Or if you have no choice but being single – why not see it as a gift.  A gift you refuse to give up until someone comes along and proves to you that he’s in it for the LONG haul. Remember – rejection is God’s protection.
