Today we had our class party. We have the next four days off, so we needed to celebrate today. The kids had fun, of course. They exchanged their valentines and ate all kinds of junk. I did not touch ONE chip. Aren’t you proud of me?! I am! And I got all kinds of gifts: chocolate, stuffed animals, etc… But I did not eat any of it. Our spread was pretty typical:
And we listened to Valentine music. Here is Frank Sinatra (one of Grandpa’s favorites) singing, “My Funny Valentine.” I think about you both when he sings “You make me smile with my heart.” Thinking of you both, makes me smile. I hope knowing that I’m STILL with you makes you smile too. Keep on the lookout for your Valentine story. It should appear on Valentine’s Day. Of course, I made your Valentine’s this year. But I’ll give them to you – in the story and when next we meet 🙂 In the meantime, smile with your hearts, sweet sisters.
