Summer can be really bad for the skin. Make sure you always wear sunscreen or put on a hat. Here is a picture of a few of my hats that you have worn from time to time:
Bea wore the blue one at the Beatrix Potter Day/Festival at the Huntington Library. Purity wore the straw hat when we went to the ocean. I love hats! I use them to decorate my room and closet when I’m not wearing them.
This might be a good time to start a skin care regimen (program). Your grandmother always said how important it is to take care of your skin. She washes her face every morning and evening. Then she does her program. Older ladies like Grandma and I need a different regime than beautiful young ladies like you. Here is a video to help guide you to your specific needs:
You do NOT need to use the expensive products this gal uses to take care of your skin. But I like how she describes washing, rinsing, drying exfoliating (removing dead skin), and moisturizing her skin. I’m sure you can find some natural remedies for fulfilling most of the actions the gal in the video discusses.

I’m sorry I was late posting. I think I’m getting sick. My throat is scratchy, my nose is runny. I think I’d better get back to the good clean food again. Here is the list so you can eat some of it with me. This is the extended list. You’ll notice there are very few processed foods on it.
I heard from oldest brother yesterday. Send him good thoughts! His job is not paying him on time and he’s having some money issues. Boy, is it important to get a skill that you can use to get a good paying job! Then, you need a job with a good company! I’m lucky. I have both of those things. And I want you both to have BOTH of those things. You must protect yourself – from the sun, from age and from folks who want to take advantage of your youth. Some parts of this world are cruel. Arm yourself with knowledge ladies! Then surround yourself with good people.
