My Dearest Bea,
Today, I went to the bank to discuss the preliminaries to getting a car loan. If/When I give Purity my car, I’ll get another car. I’ll have THAT car for about two years and three months. Then, if you NEED it, it can be yours. I did not start the process as I needed a few pieces of paperwork: proof of employment, an idea of which car I want and how much money I’ll need to borrow. I won’t do ANYTHING until I see what your sister chooses to do. I’ll just keep driving my old car. This is a win-win for me, either way. I wish I knew what kind of car you like. What color you’d like? I’ll probably get another Honda – they last forever and they are very safe. I also looked at Ford hatchbacks. I need you to be in a safe, dependable car. Just know that I have not forgotten about you. You are always in my thoughts. When I see an owl, I think of you.
I did remember what stuffed animal I bought you…I bought you a white Hedwig owl from Universal Studios Orlando. I hope you received it. I brought it all the way back from Florida and sent it to your house in a box. Anyway, I love you and miss you everyday. I always think of that ride on the Hogwart’s Express that you wrote about in your last letter to me. You are a good writer Bea. Don’t stop writing. In fact, I’m walking around with a journal all summer. I see something or hear something inspirational and I write it down. Try it! It’s fun! And, of course you’ll be reading another installment of the sketchyscribe sisters going on one of their amazing adventures. Look for it on Independence Day! But in the meantime…let’s ride the Hogwart’s Express one more time. Hold onto me tight!
Love From London and Back Again,
