I had my annual spa day at Glen Ivy with my friends from church.  We started out kinda late because we all wanted to sleep in.  Once we got there, we went right to the locker room and got into our swim suits.  Purity remembers this place.  We’ll take Bea there for sure.  She’ll love it!  There are eleven pools and several jacuzzis.

There is a mineral bath and club mud.  Club mud is an area in the spa where you put red mud all over your body.  Then you sit out in the sun and let it dry.  Once it’s dry, you wash the mud off.  Your skin ends up being SO soft.  Doing this with a bunch of girlfriends is a great way to spend the day – as you can imagine.  You hang out, talk, laugh. My friends all took an aqua aerobics class while we were there.  While they were working out, this song came on.  The folks in the pool started singing as they continued working out.  I sang along too.  But I was thinking about my two sweet girls.  Someday we’ll be sitting in a lounge chair next to each other and having a wonderful time.  It will feel like we’re “over the rainbow.” ☺️
