Since I did not get to be on the cruise, I thought I’d treat myself to a night on the Queen Mary in Long Beach.  Purity probably remembers going there.  We went ice skating there and then we looked around the ship. We had tea together in the formal tea room too.

It’s kinda fun to stay here as it feels like you’ve stepped back into the history: 1930s or 1940s. I think the hotel is a bit empty tonight because the hotel upgraded me without my asking for a better room.

Right now, I’m sitting on the observation deck looking out at the ocean.  I’m missing my girls.

Before this, I saw a 4-D movie in the new theatre they’ve installed.  How is it 4-D?  Well, it’s cool.  You watch a movie and the seats move so that you enjoy the same sensations of the characters in the movie.  For example, when a dolphin jumps into the water, a small squirt of water jumps onto each person watching the movie.  Crazy cool, huh?!  This is just a short excerpt of what I saw.  The movie was called Planet Earth: Shallow Seas. It’s only 2-D on YouTube. But, I’m sure with new technology, that will change.  Check it out!
