Dearest Bea,
Today, I went and applied for the car loan. I have been approved AND they gave me a check that I can use to purchase my car. So phase two (AKA – Help Bea Exit) is already underway. I hope you don’t think that I’ve forgotten about you. You are so close to my heart.
Grandma came over today and she saw a picture of you sitting at my dinner table. There are pictures of you both all over the house. She had never seen that picture before, but she noticed your face and we both remarked on how beautiful you are. I explained that I was teaching you to sew when the picture was taken. Remember when I did that?
I don’t know what your sister is planning to do. If she is coming to stay with me, I hope that you know that my offer to you still stands. Please tell her whether you plan to come too. That way, I’ll know what kind of deal to make on the next car. For example, if you do want to come, I’ll need to get the car paid off sooner (so I can give it to you). I’ll need to tell the bank that I’m needing a different financing plan. I’ll try to get you a small car that you can drive “down below” and park anywhere.
Today, I also test drove the Honda Fit. It was OK. I think I like the Ford Fiesta better. We’ll see what I end up with. I’m not doing ANYTHING until I talk to your sister. So tell her your plans so I can help you the best way possible. I love you so much, sweet Bea.
Love to the Eiffel Tower and Back,
Prudence XXOO
P.S. Don’t drive faster than your guardian angel. You have a few angels watching over you, you know. 🙂 This song is from the movie, Top Gun. Kenny Loggins sings “Danger Zone.” It’s a great driving song. Just don’t drive too fast. I hope your driving lessons are going well. I’m counting the days down too.
