Dearest Purity,

You are getting closer and closer to the next chapter of your life.  Your birthday story is looking good!  I spent some time on it at lunch today.

Nothing else too exciting: got my hair trimmed.  Hair is still red.  A boy came by yesterday to ask if he could repaint the address numbers on my front curb.  I said “sure.” The house looks great!

I’m going to get your car washed tomorrow and finish all the last minute preparations.

I hope you have a fantastic birthday barbecue with your friends and family.  Know that I am wishing you well.  Read the story when you get the chance.  In the meantime, John Mayer and I are “Waitin’ on the World to Change.”  🙂  I know you are too!
