I’m going to a benefit concert tonight.  My school district has an education foundation in which kids who graduate from our district can get money for college when they graduate high school.

This is the criteria: students must maintain a 2.5 grade average through high school and have little to no absences from school.  They also cannot have behavior problems – referrals to the office, etc… Students who graduate from our elementary school district and have met these parameters are awarded two years of free tuition for a junior college of their choice.  Pretty cool, huh?! Tonight, the teachers and employees of our district are having a benefit concert at a beautiful space in the hills above your house.  The headliner is named Keaton Simon.
