Every year, museums in Los Angeles get together and offer a free museum admission day. Lots of museums are involved as they realize that opening their doors allows more kinds of people to experience all the museums have to offer.
This also seems fitting as Friday is Holocaust Remembrance Day for Jews around the world. Hate killed 6 million Jews in the Holocaust during World War II. Another 6 million Gypsies, Jehovah witnesses, Homosexuals, and Disabled People were also annihilated. Hate makes people do crazy things. Hate over takes your life.
