So many Memorial Days have come and gone since I’ve seen you both. Please remember to thank any service member you come into contact with for their service.  It is no small thing to give your life up for your country.  In fact, one of my ex boyfriends (I was about 20 years old when I dated him) is still an active member of the U.S. Army.  Here is a recent picture of him standing in front of the White House:

I did commemorate Purity’s graduation by having an Memorial Day themed meal at my temple last Friday night.  We had cupcakes and sandwiches and I tailored the service (that I lead) as if you were both there listening.  Everyone saw your picture and asked “Who is the girl in the picture?” Of course, I told them about your graduating. Your brother said you liked roses, so I bought the red roses for you. 🙂
