I know you won’t believe this, but I was a pretty negative when I was in school. I ended up going to three different high schools. What a drag! I so wanted to stay at one school at get to know the other kids better. In eleventh grade, I discovered the book Anne of Green Gables. Anne had been through such awful things: being orphaned and shuttled around from one family to another. Yet, Anne always said “tomorrow is fresh with no mistakes in it.” Despite having difficulties, Anne tried to see the world as positively as she could. It tickles me to know that one of my sweet sisters has read the book and gone on to read more of them. I have dreams of going to Prince Edward Island someday. And as we know…dreams CAN come true. Here is Anne talking to her favorite teacher, Miss Stacey. Miss Stacey has words of wisdom for Anne that are good to keep in mind.
