Having fun today.  Just hanging out and having a movie marathon with my favorite actor, Alan Rickman.  You might know him as Professor Snape in the Harry Potter movies.  I first saw him in Robin Hood, Prince of Thieves.  I must have been about nineteen years old at the time.  I said “Who is THAT?!”  I have been a fan ever since.  He’s a British actor, of course.  He’s also Welsh and Irish.  He’s still quite active in the London Theatre community as he is the head director of the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art.  He continues to act and direct movies too: more arty pieces, if he can help it.  Here is a fabulous video of Mr. Rickman doing a passionate dance called the tango amidst some of his many movie roles.  You’ll see Snape, but you’ll also see him in earlier films like Die Hard and Robin Hood. He’s 69 now. He’s pretty handsome at any age.  But of course, I’ve been  prejudiced on his behalf for almost 30 years.  🙂
