An Old Fashioned Thanksgiving

Grandma and I really like this Thanksgiving movie.  The original story was written by Louisa May Alcott, the writer of the classic book, Little Women.  If you know that story, and I highly recommend that book, you’ll see bits of it in this story.  The main character, the oldest daughter named Josephine, is a writer.  Her younger sister, Prudence, is frustrated with her oldest sister as Josephine has the freedom  Prudence longs for.  It’s your typical sisterly issues with a fabulous feast and love triumphing at the end.  I know its not real life.  We get enough of that.  When you need a good story about gratitude, check out the Hallmark Channel.  I’m watching it now.  I’m sure it will be on several times this month.
