Board Game Day was lots of fun!  I didn’t let my students use their chrome books most of the day.  They had to respond to PEOPLE.  I do worry about your generation.  You are missing out on the “art of conversation.”  The art of conversation is the ability to strike up and hold an interesting conversation with just about anyone. I had a lot of wonderful conversations with folks on the trains as I was traveling through Europe.  It’s a good skill to have.

I sometimes struggle with saying the wrong thing.I’m working on that.  I bite my tongue a lot!

Your oldest brother is pretty fun to talk to, if he’s comfortable with you.  We’ve had some really deep talks in the last few months.  Yes, about you both, but also about faith and spirituality.  We’ve talked about love and loss.  He knows my wishes if I ever …you know, kick the bucket (die).  That day WILL come someday.

But in the meantime, my conversations with older brother are good.  We had a game night here around Thanksgiving.  We played my Harry Potter Clue game.  What a blast!  Yes, the art of conversation is a good skill.  Don’t lose it!
