Doin’ some things different these days. For example, I went to church on Sunday.  I know.  That’s really different. But I was getting lots of signs regarding Epiphany.  So I thought I should go to church and dive in!

Anyway, I was glad I knew the Lord’s Prayer and a few words from the song, “Jesus Loves Me.”

Yeah, I went out of my comfort zone.

The bishop’s sermon (it was a woman bishop – ☺️) was rather inspiring.  She encouraged us to find our New Year’s calling (purpose) and to go after it with courage.  I liked that.

The church is really lovely too: stained glass windows, pipe organ, water fountain in the sanctuary.  I told Grandma about it and she wants to go with me next time.  Grandma hasn’t been to church in awhile.  She just hasn’t had the heart for it.  So, if I go again, I guess I’d better brush up on the lyrics to this song…
