Because they are closest to God. They are young in years on Earth. But they are closer to God in that they are have fewer years of exposure to this arena called the physical plane of existence. (Now, we are getting REALLY deep). Earth is full of despair, sadness, hatred, anger, heartache. Children have had LESS exposure to this than adults. Kinda makes sense, doesn’t it?
