Phew! Finally finished the story! I got so busy with New Years Eve and New Years Day, I got a bit behind. I had a nice New Year. I hope you did too! I went out New Years Eve with a good friend for dinner. It was raining pretty heavily that night, but he was such a gentleman. He helped me in the car by holding the umbrella. He drove me to the front door of the Country Club and dropped me off. Then he parked the car. Gentlemen are hard to find! Enjoy their company when you find yourself among them. We had a delicious Prime Rib dinner with some champagne. And I was in bed by ten. Nothing nearly as exciting as how WE spent New Years Eve together in my story. Anyway, now that the story is complete, I’ll go back and edit it more carefully. I tend to shift verb tenses sometimes. Also continuity is important. Gotta make sure everything flows together just right. I don’t want ANYTHING to distract my two beautiful readers from the imaginary world I’ve created for them. One comma out of place, can do this. My girls deserve my best effort! So tomorrow, I’ll start proofreading each part very carefully.
