The next morning, the girls woke up and noticed just how messy their hotel room was. Clothes were strewn everywhere and pizza boxes were stacked up on the furniture.
“We gotta clean this place up!” said Purity. “I can’t live like this!”
They set to work putting everything back to its rightful place and throwing unused boxes away. They knew the maid would make the beds and vacuum the carpet throughout their suite.
“So what are we going to do tonight?” asked Bea. She looked at Purity.
“Well, I figured you’d want to go to Times Square to watch the ball drop,” asked Prudence.
Prudence had made sure both girls had plenty of warm clothing in their closets. They checked to be sure they had thermal underware, gloves, sweaters, hats, coats, and scarves etc…
As they were rooting around their closets, the girls found shimmery dresses and shoes.
“What is this?” asked Purity.
“Well, the Plaza Hotel is having a New Years Eve Ball. I thought you’d both like to go,” said Prudence. The girls squealed.
“Can we get our hair done in the Beauty Parlor?” asked Bea.
“Sure,” said Prudence.
“Thank you!” the girls said in unison. The girls ran to their tablets and started looking through the Internet for hairdo ideas.

Later that evening, the three girls entered the grand ballroom of the Plaza Hotel. And immediately they started to dance. This was the song that started their New Years Evening…
