It’s as easy as answering the questions fully and telling them all the good stuff the company giving the grant or scholarship wants to hear. Check it out this sample scholarship essay:
Notice he talks about his hardships BUT these hardships make him a better candidate for getting the scholarship. You don’t have to bring up current circumstances, but do discuss mom leaving at young age and how you’ve “learned to be a more self directed individual because she chose this path.” You can use these words if you want. You can do this. Ask a few people to help you. I ALWAYS have at least two people reread what I write. Listen to them, if they can write well. And do what they suggest. If nothing else, you’ll gain some experience in writing scholarships and grants. You can write applications for grants or scholarships at any age. I just won one and you know how old I am! Just try. That’s all I’m saying. Please. It will help you keep moving forward. Please try sweet girls. Xxoo
