I headed off down the road and into Los Angeles for the day.  I’ve been wanting a nice long walk on the beach and today seemed as good a day as any.  I did end up on Route 66 briefly as I was traveling.  I don’t know if you’ve heard this song.  Living as close as you do to this historic road, you should hear the song.  Plus Natalie Cole sings it so well.  Wishin’ we were off on one of our adventures again.  We’ll do it again.  We’ll make it happen.  In the meantime, enjoy cruising in your car to this old tune with a new twist.  (Natalie Cole’s dad, Nat King Cole, originally sang this song.)
