Just a quick note to remind you what scares control freaks the most: a girl with a book in her hand.  So simple.  So powerful!  Keep reading girlies!  Read everything you can.  Figure out what you like to read the best and read, read, read.  ( I can’t get enough of psychology and stories.)I breathe stories.

Also, books about real people and how they survive situations.  Malala Yousafzai is a very interesting young woman in the world. She’s only eighteen years old, but she’s tackled some very serious control freaks.  She’s an advocate for women’s education in Pakistan.  She was marked for death by the Taliban.  On her way home from school, she was shot.  She survived and spoke out against those who tried to silence her. She has recently won the Nobel Peace Prize.  She is the youngest person to ever do so.  Amazing huh?!  Her story inspires me.
