I Hate Burpees!

Well, I survived my first workout.  It was hard!  There are all these exercises we have to do and the title on the bulletin board above them is:

The Pyramid of Pain

The pyramid starts with 100 jumping jacks.  Then 90 of another exercise, 80 of another exercise etc… My friend Sharon and I started at the bottom.  And we only got through half of the exercises.  It truly was hell.  Girls high school PE wasn’t this bad.  And in between EACH exercise set, we had to do 10 Burpees.  I hate them!  I had to crawl to my feet through most of them.  But I did not quit!  I did imagine you both helping me through my roughest moments: 50 arm curls with ten pound weights!  Ugh!  Thank you for being so beautiful.  Anyway here is a Burpee if you are not tortured by such exercises…you are lucky. If you still have PE at school, be aware that I know your pain – intimately.  No sugar, no goodies of any kind.  I’m in it with you ladies.  You are not alone.  🙂 Boy, do I love you!
