John Lennon wrote this song, hoping to get people to expand their thinking. “Imagine there is no heaven…” seems a strange way to start a song.  It kinda surprises you.  But he goes on to say that things like people all sharing and living in peace.  We wouldn’t need a heaven if people all just tried to get along better.  We wouldn’t need religion or borders if people respected each other more.  Many people feel this in one of the best peace songs out there.  It is certainly one of my favorite.  I submit it for your review, my sweet girls.  Enjoy how it bends your brain, a little.
