The play was good tonight, but weird.  If you perform for a long time, you discover there are these nights when, for whatever reason, things seem kinda off.  You’re not sure why.  You just keep going and try to “get back in the zone.”

Our first day of school was good.  The kids are sweet.  I think they enjoyed themselves.

I’m sure school is going full force for you now.  Just know that I’m thinking of you both and praying for you too.  If I could, I’d stand out on your street and serenade you with a song.  But – THAT could get messy and probably embarrassing for two teenage gals.  But the gals of my generation all fell in love with John Cusack when he did it for Ione Skye in the movie, Say Anything.  Here’s the clip:
