I’m just not that competive.  I guess I believe that the only race you need to win is the race against yourself.  And if you are always striving to be better, that’s a tough enough race to win without adding others in the mix.  What matters is who you are.  Are you kind?  Can you forgive? How do you treat others that “serve you.” If you are “doing it” right, you are serving others too.

Today, I’m hanging out at Santa Anita Race Track in Arcadia.  I’ve never been here before.  It’s so cool: very iconic and so 1920’s modern.  I love this.  Yes, I’m going to bet on a horse.  I’m over 21 after all.  I’m not much of a gambler but it’s fun once in a great while.  I have lunch reservations about a half hour before the first race and I won’t stay too long as I have a hot date later this evening.  ?
