This is a very important difference.  Pay attention!

Love does NOT hurt you.  But loving someone who does not know how to love you hurts you.  Don’t be mad at love.  Just protect yourself from people who cannot love you.  But how do you know they cannot love, you ask?  Watch for several red flags:

They can’t commit to things: jobs, responsibility of any kind, simple things like a walk or a meeting that keeps being postponed.

They are crazy control freaks!

They avoid using the word “we.”  If they use the word “we” about their male friends, run.  Their male friends matter more than you do.

You can’t tell them how you feel.  If you try, they run away or they start blaming you for stupid things (like being honest about your feelings.)

Please remember, sweet sisters, that their cruelty is not your fault.
