Despite what you may hear, there are MANY kinds of families.  Sometimes, the family you choose, is the family that understands you best.  Blood family can be the family you choose, but don’t discount friends.  I have several families: blood, gym, work, temple and artistic families.  When one family isn’t able to help me, often another family can.  There is nothing wrong with getting what you need from other people.  Expecting to get everything you need from one person or family can be difficult. We are family.  And I hope someday you choose to allow me to be in your “family.”  No, we are not related by blood.  But we are “kindred spirits.”  I’ve known you both for the entirety of your lives.  I watched one of you come into this world.  (Why not the other is a long story for another time).  Purity – You are my “spirit child.”Bea – I think you are “a mini me.”You do things that make me say, “I used to do that when I was young.”  Anyway, we ARE family!  Don’t you forget it!
