The first day of his new life has begun! Oh! The Places We Go!  I always knew this day would come.  I knew I’d need to step up and have one of you kids live with me for a while.  I’m not sure how long this is going to be.

I have written a seven page contract that we both must sign to continue.  I know it sounds like a lot of pages.  But when you get older, you’ll rent apartments and houses where the contracts to use them will be that long, or longer.  And when you buy a house…! Crazy amounts of paperwork.  But I think that what I’m asking for is fair.  Stuff like to call/text each other by 10pm if either of us will be out late/overnight.  This is so the other person doesn’t worry.  And because I’ll lock up the house and even a key won’t get him inside.  I have a special latch on the front door.

Anyway, we’ll see how this goes.  Wish us luck!  And by the way…Happy Dr. Seuss Day!
