Quiet day today: did a little studying in Hebrew and the Bible.  Then, Ihad lunch.  I did a little reading too.

Grandma bought me this beautiful art print for my bathroom.  My theme is selkies.  Selkies are like mermaids, but they are half human, half seal.  There are lots of beautiful legends about the selkies in and around Scotland and Ireland.  Here is the Selkie print:

The print was shipped all the way from the artist’s studio in Austalia.  Gorgeous huh?! Now my master bathroom is complete.

I’ll finish my bedroom next.  I’d like to get some prints of the Scottish countryside.  So many waterfalls!  Absolutely breathtaking scenery!  I absolutely love the land of my Grandmother’s birth. What do you think of this print for the bedroom?

 

And in celebration of Scottish artists and the great love I continue to post to you.  Here’s Rod Stewart and his song, “Love is.”  I first heard this song on my trip up to the Highlands of Scotland.  I hope and pray you both have a love like this someday in your life.  In fact, I keep posting for lots of reasons.  But one of them is so you know REAL love when you see it.  I want all the best and beautiful things for the two most amazing gals in the world!
