I feel the need to be purified. You can do that anytime you need it. It is called in Hebrew a “mikvah.” It is kind of like a baptismal bath. First, you bathe/shower. Then, you do it again. Yes, I said bathe/shower twice. I took one last night and another this morning. Now, I’m in a hotel right next to the ocean, right? So, I’ll take my immersion (covering with water) in this natural spring or body of water and say these words:
Blessed are you, O’Lord, Our God, King of the universe, who gives us commandments and commands us in the immersion.
I’ll say it in Hebrew, of course.
I’ve been reading a lot lately about how divine we all are. We are all divine and pure, just like God is. We are more than “created in his image,” we are divine, just like God. Be careful who you say that to though. Some folks are still trapped into believing that we are separate from God. There is no separateness. We are all connected. We are all divine. We can bring God’s purity and goodness into our lives with the turn of a thought. Think about that! Have a divine day! I love you. XXOO
