go here Grandpa and Grandma went to Hawaii several years back for their 35th wedding anniversary. While they were there, they toured the Pearl Harbour Memorial Museum. Grandpa was a U.S. History teacher before he retired, remember? So we should take a few minutes to remember this fateful day. After December 7th, 1941, the U.S. could not, in good conscience, stay out of the war in Europe.

Large orchestras with a brass section, piano, vocals and drums. Swing music, which was similar, had African ( drums) and Jewish influences (piano). Swing music is still popular today. This is one of my favorite bands, Big Bad Voodoo Daddy, singing Rudolph, the Red Nosed Reindeer. Give it a listen. In honor of all those folks who died at Pearl Harbor on this day in 1941.
