Seeing you all standing at the top of the hill at the beginning of the ceremony was an impressive sight. And watching you all walk with such dignity was a delight. I have to admit, I shed a few tears last night. You are all grown up now. Later, I waited for them to call your name so I could get a picture of you getting your diploma. I was so concerned, with so many graduates, that I wouldn’t see you. But as soon as you walked into the center of the arena, I knew it was you. More tears started to flow. Could this be the little girl I held in my arms so many years ago? I watched and waited as you made your way to the stage. Then, they called your name. Congratulations, my sweet Purity. I’m so very proud of you. Here are just a few pictures and your Pomp and Circumstance March – forever memorialized on the website I created for you and Bea. The only thing I’d change about the ceremony is having a camera with a wider lens. Here you are waiting to get your “diploma” and getting your diploma. I know you REALLY got it later on that night. You just received the jacket for it first.
And here is your walk down the hill to Pomp and Circumstance…
