You were both so young when I took you to the Huntington Library for Beatrix Potter Day.  I took all these beautiful black and white pictures of you.  You both wore hats and looked like such grown up young ladies.  I believe we had tea in the tearoom too.

Beatrix Potter is one of my favorite writer/artists.  She lived in London AND in the Lake District of Northern England.  In this video, Miss Potter is in her beloved Lake District.  Isn’t it beautiful?  I’m so excited to think that I’ll be seeing it soon.

We used to watch these videos of Miss Potter, Peter Rabbit and his friends when you were young.  This is the theme song that came at the end of each segment.

Today is a near perfect day for me.  We got out of work early today for Spring Break.  I’m going to get a pedicure in a bit.  As always, I’ll remember my sweet girls and dream of all the dreams I have with them.  I’m so grateful that we are able to communicate in this way.  It will indeed be a perfect day when we are together again.
