My students are learning to identify the blame game…and how NOT play it. I just don’t believe in harping on people. You ask them, nicely to do/ not do something and then do what you gotta do to keep the peace in your life.
And when someone tries to blame me for something – especially if they do it publicly, I refuse to participate. You KNOW that! I just have too much to do to deal with all that pettiness.
I guess happiness and peace are more my rule than my exception. It wasn’t always that way. Several times in my life, I found myself involved with some drama queen (or king) who tried to create issues. Somehow, I knew not to put too much stock in the “blah, blah blah,” coming out of their mouths.
“Into every life, a little drama must fall.”
– Prudence Scattergoode
I read this on Facebook recently:
Sad huh? So I decided to watch everyone, even myself.
It’s better to discuss ideas rather than people or events.
Think about beautiful things like what you value in a good teacher or potential boyfriend.
Drama belongs only one place – the stage! That quote always makes me smile.
This picture also made me smile. If I had a code name at this point (along with Prudence Scattergoode) it would probably be “Black Sheep.” 🙂
Smile girlies! Summer is here. The weather is sunny. July is getting closer and closer. You are healthy. You are so loved! You are blessed.
One final thought. Only YOU decide how this day will unfold and it all starts with a decision to…smile.
