The girls got up bright and early the next morning. The ship was already docked in Orlando, Florida and a shuttle bus was waiting on the dock to take passengers to Walt Disney World. Once the girls arrived at Walt Disney’s magical world, they opened their maps had to decide which area they would like to start exploring:
“This place is HUGE!” remarked Purity.
“I wanna go on the Kali River Rapids in the Animal Kingdom,” exclaimed Bea.
“Ok,” said Prudence and off they went…
Next, the girls made their way to Epcot Center. Purity found a Test Track race car ride that they knew their brothers would be so jealous that they got to ride on. So, of course they HAD to ride on it…
The girls were getting so tired. So, they decided to take a break from all the walking. They took the monorail to Fantasyland and stopped in at the Be Our Guest Restaurant.
The girls are mesmerized by how the story of Beauty and the Beast seemed to have come alive. Both Bea and Purity were both feeling like princesses especially when the waiter insisted on helping them into their chairs. Before long, they were presented with their first course: an amuse bouche…
“An amuzz what?” asked Bea.
“An amuse boosh,” said Prudence. “Amuse bouche in French means ‘to make the mouth enjoy – to get it ready for all the great food.'”
“Sounds sketchy, Prudy. I gotta tell ya!” pronounced Purity. But when Chef Bruno explained that each piece of nougat is sweet tasting, each gal took a quick bite of the square concoction placed in front of her.
“MMMMMMM! How do you make this?” asked Purity
“It’s tres’ facile – very easy,” explained Chef Bruno.
But the Amuse bouche was as adventurous as the girls planned to be that day – food wise. They each got steak and frites (AKA French Fries) with lots of Ranch dressing.
“Ahhhhhh! That was good!” exclaimed Bea.
They continued their day and evening in the World of Disney.
“I know its kinda childish, but let’s go on the Little Mermaid Ride!”said Prudence.
“OK,” said the girls in unison.
The shuttle back to the ship was leaving at 10pm, so the girls had just enough time to catch the Main Street Electrical Parade after a bit of window shopping, of course…
“What an amazing day it has been!” remarked Bea.
“And the adventure is only starting,” said Purity. “How long will we be at sea?”
“How does seven days sound,” asked Prudence.
“Not long enough!” said Bea.
“But we’ll take what we can get!” said Purity.
After getting on the shuttle bus, each girl took her big sister by the arm and held her close. They cuddled all throughout the ride back to the ship. Both girls felt so content.
“This is what joy feels like,” sighed Bea. “What a fantastic Valentine’s Day vacation THIS is going to be.”
