Waiting on the World to Change

Major packing day today.  Got out early to get some wardrobe boxes.  My closet has just too many clothes!  You know.  You helped me pack up my closet a few moves ago.  Do you remember?  Your stuff is still sitting in the closet along with all of my stuff.  Bea’s black leather jacket and Purity’s bag full of goodies.  Both of your bags from Paris and New York are also there.  Also, the secret surprise I bought you both in Paris.  Hint: keep those girlish figures.  I’ll pack lots of that today and shlep (Jewish/Yiddish word meaning move or bring along) all of it to the new house.  Thank goodness I have a walk in closet there too.  Yes, “I’m waiting on the world to change” too.  In the meantime, I’m preparing for that change. I’m creating a cozy home for ANYONE who wants to be there for as long (or as short) a time as they need.  When the world changes…I’m gonna be ready.  Are you?  🙂 Thanks John Mayer for some more soundtrack in the music that accompanies our lives. I’m going to listen to some of the music that has been presented on www.sketchyscribe.com on the Youtube channels :ScattergoodeWithMusic and the recent history of  Prudence Scattergoode. Wanna join me? Get a BIG project done and enjoy the music as you do it.  ALMOST as good as being together.
