Well, I’m finishing errands before the start of the school year.  Your youngest brother got married a few months back, as you know, and a celebration from our side of the family still needs to happen.  So, I’m taking him, his new wife and baby out to lunch soon.  But I wanted to make our dessert: a homemade wedding cake.  I thought it might be fun to actually make one myself.  I think I’ll practice different icing designs and see what I can do well.  But in the end, I think I’ll just decorate it with white frosting, a wedding cake top of some kind and fresh flowers like the baby’s breath in this picture.  Maybe a few daisies, calla lilies and white roses too.  It should be pretty.  I’ll be thinking of all those times we baked in my kitchen.  You are both in my heart every day. I guess I’m doing stuff like this to try to keep our family together.  I keep in contact with both of your brothers as best as I can.  And of course, I continue to post here twice daily.  We’ll get through this.  Just don’t let go of love sweet girls.  We love you and “We Are Family!” XXOO
